If you're planning a new development, we want to help you get it right.
By working together, you get access to public records held by us, our data on available points of connection, and an estimate on how much it will cost to supply that area.
When we know what developers are proposing, we can highlight any areas of concern, and make sure that our assets are able to cope with the added pressure that the new development will bring.
It's a win-win for everyone, and avoids costly delays down the line.
Step 1: You apply
By either filling out our online form, or printing it out, completing it and sending it back to us. It's simple to do, and won't take long.
Step 2: We review your application
We'll review your application and the supporting information you've provided us.
You'll hear from us within 5 days to either confirm we have all the information we need, or to request any missing information.
Step 3 (if needed): You provide us with more information
If you didn't provide all the information we needed first time round, don't worry. Our Planning Team will be in touch to help you and point you in the right direction. Once all the information is in place, your application will be submitted successfully.
Step 4: We send you the requested information
Once we've receieved your successful application, we'll carry out a review of the proposed development and send you the information you requested within 21 days.

If you'd rather carry out your own point of connection assessment, send it to us and we'll validate it.
