For over 35 years, our team of scientists in Exeter have been testing water across the South West to make sure it’s some of the best in the world.

Our laboratory has earned the DWTS, MCERTS and ISO17025:2017 accreditation, and supports a wide range of public and private enquiries. More than 2000 samples are tested every day.

The kind of tests and services we offer

We carry out a wide range of chemical and microbiological tests, analysing samples from rivers, streams, water mains and customers’ taps. We test for microbiological organisms, metals, nutrients, radiochemistry, pesticides and insecticides.

What to do when you get there

Once through the security gates, follow the one-way system anti-clockwise round to the back of the Laboratory, following the signs for sample reception. The customer drop off point is to the left of the Sample Reception door.

Please adhere to the one-way system and our reverse parking policy when visiting our site.
